Meet the Bloggers
Curran Henson is a graduate student from Memphis, Tennessee, who works under the guidance of Drs. Morten and Hanna Jensen. His first appearance on the UArk BME blog was in our conference diaries series, and his current research involves using a nanoparticle stem cell-based therapeutic approach to the regeneration of ischemic cardiac tissue. In his free time, Curran enjoys reading, backpacking, golfing, and skydiving.
Kyle Smith, a biomedical engineering major, is a member of the class of 2019 at the University of Arkansas, as well as a percussionist in the Razorback Marching Band. He loves the outdoors and fishing, and claims Magnolia, Arkansas, as his hometown. He is a part of the Honors College here at the University, and one day wants to pursue graduate school—his dream career would involve conducting research for Alzheimer’s disease.
